About Us
Matrix Nine is spearheaded by James Drew with background support from industry veteran Andrew Frengley. The two have worked together in the event industry for more than 20 years specialising in the design, supply and installation of the very highest quality audio systems.
Our ethos is always to work closely with clients to conform to their unique and individual needs whether architectural, budgetary, time-constrained or otherwise.
Andrew is the founder of Matrix Nine. His 40+ years of experience have taken him from international stadium touring to becoming technical director of the Canegreen family of businesses where he began building the corporate portfolio more than 25 years ago.
James now leads the company while Andrew provides consultancy and business support. Previous to becoming principal at Matrix Nine James toured extensively as a sound designer and music technology specialist for some of the world’s best loved shows.
As SSE (now Solotech) absorbed Canegreen, Matrix Nine continued to service their select roster of corporate clients. Our clients continue to benefit from individual and close personal relationships with James and Andrew whilst seamlessly benefitting from the vast resource of one of the world’s largest suppliers of audio technology.
